Congratulations to our U12’s girls team who pulled off a fantastic 5-2 victory in the West Riding shield final against Rothwell at the weekend.
Manager Paula Crowther was delighted for the team. “The girls have been phenomenal. To finish 5th in Division 1 and to win the shield in their first full season, it is a massive achievement and all down to their hard work and commitment. I would like to thank our supporters, parents, sponsors & the club who have all been fantastic.
I would like to dedicate the shield win to the wonderful late Julie Chipchase who will always be an inspiration for female football. Chippy would have been really proud of what we have achieved.”
