The lads finished the season with a win against a very strong Oldham team, in a entertaining game which we dominated the first 40 mins with our passing game and was a joy to watch.
The lads seem to step it up a gear when needed and did just that today!!!! Credit to Oldham though who at 4-1 down came on strong towards the final 20minutes. There were some fantastic goals scored too and M.O.M went to the whole team. Not one player had a bad game and all 14 lads played their part in this fantastic win.
Massive well done to three new lads today. Keeper Ralphy who played half a game and Midfielder Dermot & Attacker Archie you will all fit in well with this lot. (Enjoy the time off now and next stop Blackpool Tournament here we come).
The day finished off bad with our CB Thomas Joynt sadly breaking his wrist in the very last tackle of the game…he was taken to Pinderfields straight away and we all wish him a speedy recovery.
