We are delighted to confirm the return of forward Layton Swaine. Layton was previously with the club after impressing in preseason 2019.
During his short spell he scored in back to back wins over Hebburn Town and Glossop North End. Layton then joined local side Hemsworth Miners Welfare, where he has continued his scoring form. He scored six times in competitive action during last years curtailed season, before then getting off to a good start again this year scoring another six goals in preseason.
The young goalscorer came through the academy at Sheffield Wednesday and the forward will be competing for a starting berth with the front men at the club.
