Jack Greenhough | Looking for his teammates to push on from bright start

Jack the boys have started well this season with only two defeats in all competitions. How important is it to now build on this start?

Yes we’ve had a good start results wise other than the two cup losses, it’s important now coming up to this stage of the season to put another good run of results together and put more points on the board. We know as a group that we haven’t been at our best in the games and probably started every game slow so far, but we have still ended up with the better chances in those periods. With the group we have and the courage in the camp, we have put a good 45-60 minutes together and got the results, we just need to turn that into 90 minute performances.

We are unbeaten in the league and have put in some great performance and some battling performances, how would you describe the team spirit in the camp?

The team spirit we have is high, we’re a good hardworking group and all want to succeed and pull each other through the games. Every player in the squad want to play for the club and each other, which can get you 15/20 points a season.

We go into a run of games against sides all pushing towards the top end of the league, how crucial is it to take points off of those around us?

It’s really important to get the results off these teams and really put a stamp on the league, but every game in the league is hard and anybody can beat anybody so we just go into every games knowing it’s going to be tough.
