Welcome back Ben! We’re really pleased to have you confirmed back with us for next season, what made you want to come back for another year?
I’ve had some good chats with Rousey and his coaching staff, about the upcoming season and we are starting to put a strong squad together which I wanted to be part of.
How have you found the run of games during these mid season fixtures?
I’ve really enjoyed them. It’s been good to be back training and playing games everyone has missed football over the last few months. It’s been good to get in and get to know the lads and the way we will be looking to play this season.
What are your goals/targets personally and as a squad for the season ahead?
As a squad we will be looking to start the season well and finish as high up the league as possible, then try be up and around the promotion positions. Personally my aim is to chip in with my fair share of assists and the odd goal to help the team, but also be part of a back 4 to keep a lot of clean sheets.
Finally do you have a message to supporters?
Its going to be great to have them back in the ground when safe to do so. Last season wasn’t good enough and they traveled home and away to support us, so I’m sure they will come out in their numbers again and we can give them much improvement performances on the pitch this season.
