Pontefract Collieries will be looking to keep their run of recent form rolling this weekend as they welcome Dunston UTS FC in what promises to be another fiercely contested meeting between two familiar rivals.
The Colls head into the fixture on the back of an encouraging 3–1 win away at Blyth Town, a result that showcased their growing confidence and cutting edge in front of goal. With recent performances nudging them closer to the play-off picture, heading into the winter – there’s no better time to build momentum with a string of results.
Dunston, however, will arrive with plenty of motivation of their own. Their cup exploits have been a highlight of the campaign, but now with all focus on the league they’ll be looking to rise up the table.
